# How to Vote for a Liquidity Gauge for Xave's Pool

In order to get voting power, you need to lock veBAL into Balancer's VotingEscrow contract. Refer to this [page](https://docs.xave.co/tutorials/how-to-vote-for-xaves-gauges-in-balancer-using-vebal/how-to-lock-vebal).

1. Go to veBAL page [here](https://app.balancer.fi/#/ethereum/vebal)
2. Look for the liquidity pool gauges to vote for. Make sure that you are voting for the correct Xave liquidity pool gauges. (See the list of Xave Liquidity Gauges [here](https://docs.xave.co/tutorials/how-to-vote-for-xaves-gauges-in-balancer-using-vebal))
3. Specify the voting power to use in terms of percentage (%)
4. Click "Confirm Vote" and wait for the transaction to be confirmed.
